Here's a start...

Havent done it myself, but shouldnt be any different than how you would do it from VBA. A quick Google threw up this -> http://www.khk.net/wordpress/2010/09/23/reading-pdf-form-fields-with-vba/. Just change the declarations to variant and see how you go.
